Our work depends on Systems Technician II joining our team to support Enterprise Technology Services and Support activities at the Integrated Technology Center (ITC) in Bossier City, LA. **This is a daily onsite position at our Bossier City office location.** HOW A SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN II WILL MAKE AN IMPACTProviding installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardwareWorking closely with GDIT employees to ensure IT tickets are responded to, and resolved, in a timely manner.Monitoring and responding to hardware and software problems with a variety of testing tools and techniques.Providing onsite support for other technical and organizational groups including hands-on/eyes-on assistance for remote teamsOffering technical support and training to end-usersExpanding current knowledge of relevant technology as assignedMaintaining systems for conference rooms and associated AV componentsParticipating in special projects as requiredVendor escorting and on call support as neededWHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:High School Diploma and 1+ year of related work experience supporting end-user computing.Strong written and oral communication and excellent customer service skillsExperience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, and common applications (e.g. Microsoft Office).Experience with desktops, laptops, mobile devices (iOS, Android), and application supportSolid understanding of basic networking principlesOperational knowledge of the following is a plus: Active Directory, Group Policy, SharePoint, and Microsoft System Center products.Location: requires being onsite daily in the Bossier City office location GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home 401K with company match Comprehensive health and wellness packages Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications Cutting-edge technology you can learn from Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays
